Mobility of the future demands not only creative powertrain technologies but also new fuel solutions. SunFuel® is our designation for second generation biofuels. Volkswagen is launching a great idea with SunFuel®. This advanced biofuel is manufactured from organic residues, e.g. straw, and therefore does not compete with food production. We are working on development with major players in the fuel industry, e.g. IOGEN and Shell.
